I've been lucky enough to make a living doing what I love since 1999. What began as a small line of personalized stationery has grown into a career in illustration and art licensing, giving me the opportunity to collaborate with some wonderful brands.

Besides art, my other great love has always been horses. I'm a lifelong equestrian, completely animal obsessed, and share my small Arizona farm with a perfectly curated collection of horses, ponies, pigs, chickens, dogs, and cats.

My mustang, Charlie, famously wanders into the house for visits, often joined by a pig or chicken. His antics inspired my children's book series, Penelope and Macaroni, which follows the adventures of a young woman who shares her home with a horse.

Some days my real life truly resembles my illustrations.

Whether I'm working on a new design, developing a collection of patterns, or dreaming up another story, my inspiration is never far away. It's usually right outside my studio window—or occasionally standing in my kitchen.
